1. What the App Stores

For the Foodbe app, Foodbe stores only the following account data:

• A unique user ID generated at sign-in
• Email address provided via Apple or Google Sign-In

All other app data, including meal plans, grocery lists, and conversation history, lives exclusively on your device.

2. In-Session Memory

Foodbe remembers your statements within a single conversation thread to provide contextual responses. This data is stored on your device. Once a thread is closed, that data is deleted. You can also disable In-session memory so no data is stored or remembered at any point during any session.

Manage memory settings at any time in Settings → Privacy.

3. API and MCP Access

When a developer or an AI agent uses the Foodbe API or the Foodbe MCP server, Foodbe stores the following on its servers:

• The question sent and the answer returned, with an anonymous identifier. No name or email is attached to a question.
• For API keys: the email address given at signup, the key itself (stored only as a hash), and token usage records such as the endpoint called, tokens used, and the time of each call.

Foodbe uses questions to find topics that need verified answers and to improve the corpus.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

App subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. API token purchases are processed by Stripe. Foodbe does not store payment card information. Purchase history is managed by Apple, RevenueCat, and Stripe.

5. Account Deletion

App accounts can be deleted at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your user ID and email from Foodbe servers immediately. To remove API key data, email admin@foodbe.ai.

6. Security

All data transmission uses SSL/TLS encryption. Foodbe does not sell user data.
